Space Planning for a Two Storey Home Extension

I am a big advocate of space planning as the very first step of designing any space. You can have all the greatest styling, expensive furniture and wall paper in the world if your home just simply does not work for you.

When the flow is just not right, there isn't enough storage, family members are in each others ways all the time, there is nowhere to entertain visitors, you bump into corners all the time etc, etc.

All interior design and renovation projects should start with reviewing the use of space and make the fist steps accordingly.

On this project, that is the only service I provided so far, but as you can see it was quite a work! Extending a small ground floor house to the back and adding a whole entire second floor!
